Working Together On Your Website

Web Solutions has created more than fifty big web projects. We have perfected a system for custom web site developing that streamlines the process, provides customer and developer interaction and guarantees your satisfaction. We can provide as much input as you want. If you know exactly what you want, we'll create it. If you are not sure, we'll be happy to provide our expert opinions and guidance.

Most of our interactions will be through email. If we are working on a webdesign through e-mail you will get developed alternate designs and send us back your remarks and wishes. If we are working on website creation, a special temporary web-server will be created for you so you will be able to check that the alternate design is operating correctly. Email allows us to keep a written record of our communications to ensure that all your requirements, feedback and suggestions are captured. It also allows us to refer back to previous conversations when necessary. The result is an accurate custom built web site design to suite your specific needs. However, dont hesitate to phone us if you need us.

Step 1: Tell us a little about your business.

After you place your order, we will send you an order confirmation email. We will ask you for your logo and desired content for the web site and request you to complete a short questionnaire so that we can learn a little about your business and your specific requirements. Some of the questions we ask include: What are your web site goals and objectives? What is your target audience? What are your colour and style preferences? Do you have any examples of web sites you like? If you have specific text and images you would like to include (maybe from an existing brochure or catalogue), you can send those to us too. As soon as we receive your information, we will immediately begin work on your custom web site design. As always, you are encouraged to share ideas and feedback along the way.

Step 2: Review your design and layout concepts and choose one for further refinement.

Within 3 business days, we will send you your first design concepts. We will start with the design and layout of your home and inner pages and will send you 3-5 concepts to begin with. Then choose your favourite design to work with. If you aren't happy with any of the concepts, then we will send more choices to you. After you've chosen a design and layout concept that you like, we will make revisions to that design and layout concept until you are completely satisfied.

Step 3: Review your web page revisions and send us your feedback.

For our website packages (Web Page Design, Professional Web Site Design or Corporate Web Site Design): once the design and layout for your web pages have been finalized, we will plug in the content that you want to see on your pages. You can send your logo, text (or copy) and images to us in an email, attached as a word document or other file. For your images, you also have the option of choosing from our gallery of thousands royalty-free images at no additional cost. You describe what you would like to see, and we will pick the images for you. Or, if you prefer, you may choose the images yourself and we will upload them for you. You can send all of this content as soon as you have it - you don't have to wait until the design and layout of your web pages are ready.

We will continue to revise your web pages until you are completely satisfied.

Step 4: Finalize your web pages (or template).

You will be able to view all your concepts and revisions through a link that we will email ot you. Once you are completely satisfied with your website, we will send you a zip file that contains all the final files and formats that you require. If you need something other than a zip file, please let us know and we will be able to accommodate you.
